Kim Moo-jun Wins Newcomer Award for “Dynamite Kiss”

Actor Kim Moo-jun won the Newcomer Award at the 2025 SBS Acting Awards for his role in the SBS Wednesday–Thursday drama “Dynamite Kiss.” The ceremony took place on December 31 at the SBS Prism Tower in Sangam, Seoul.

In the drama, Kim Moo-jun played Kim Seon-woo, a 20-year-old and the male friend of Ko Da-rim (played by Ahn Eun-jin). His character is also a single dad. Kim showed a wide range of emotions on screen, including friendship, sincere love, honest confession, jealousy, and rivalry.

After the drama was released on global OTT platforms, many international viewers praised his warm and kind image. Some even said he felt like the classic romantic male lead in a K-drama. This attention helped him gain fans around the world.

After receiving the award, Kim Moo-jun said, “Thank you for this precious award. I sincerely thank the viewers and fans who loved the work.”

He added, “I’m truly grateful I had the chance to play Seon-woo. Thanks to the actors and staff, I lived happily for half a year,” and promised to work even harder in the future.

Kim Moo-jun has continued to build his career with roles in different genres, appearing in dramas such as “Even If I Know,” “493km to You,” “Lovers,” “Today’s Apology,” and “Dynamite Kiss.” With this Newcomer Award, many people are now looking forward to what he will do next.
